"CAD offshore services" gets used loosely. For some providers it means basic 2D drafting from redlines. For others it means full 3D modelling, structural documentation, and engineering sign-off. Before comparing providers, it is worth knowing which end of that range you actually need.
The distinction matters because pricing, turnaround, and quality expectations differ enormously between the two. A drafting-only service can be fast and cheap for simple conversions. Before engaging any CAD offshore service, ask for a sample of past work in your specific sector — offshore wind, structural steel, or general mechanical — rather than a generic portfolio. Confirm turnaround time against your actual project timeline, not a marketing average. And clarify file formats and deliverables in writing before work starts, since ambiguity here is the most common source of rework.
